Avocado Sunseed Pate

This vegetarian pate is suitable for a raw food diet, as well as for vegetarians and vegans

Prep time: 6 hours
Total time: 6 hours 10 min
Yield: 4-6 servings

Ingredients:
2 large, ripe avocados
1 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup parsley
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 handful sunflower sprouts

Directions:
In a bowl or jar soak the sunflower seeds in water for 6 hours. Drain the the water from the seeds, and discard. Blend all the ingredients in a vita-mixer or a commercial blender. Remove the pate from the blender with a spatula onto a plate, then carefully mold into a shape with your hands. Refrigerate for 1/2 hour.
Remove and garnish with sunflower sprouts.
